Ton Matton works in the field of urban design, architecture, ecology and art in public space. In 2001 he founded the Matton Office with its headquarters based in the Free Range Office and the dependance in Werkstatt Wendorf (Germany). From 2003 on, Matton is part-time professor Art, Architecture and Design at the Hamburg Art Academy. He worked at BOOM, advisors in environmental design in Delft, taught part-time as urban designer, organized architectural excursions to Berlin and started, together with Lucas Verweij, Buro Schie, office for urban design and environment. After the fusion with Jan Konings, he took part in Schie 2.0 as one of the partners.
