Nicholas' work explores interpersonal relations as aesthetic experiences mediated by technology. Invited by Droog Design to participate in the third installment of the Dry Tech series, Nicholas, with Didier Hilhorst, designed and developed "Cushion Control": a set of remote controls that transform arguments over the remote into playful cushion fights. His work has been exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan from 2005-2006 with Interaction-Ivrea, and in 2007 as part of Droog's Smart Deco 2 collection. Nicholas is currently a designer and technologist at IDEO, a design and innovation firm in Palo Alto, California.
