Roelof Mulder

Roelof Mulder is a multidisciplinary artist, operating in the field of graphic, type, interior and exhibition design. He studied fine art at the Academy in Arnhem and design at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, the Netherlands. 

 

Roelof's graphic and editorial work includes magazines such as Forum and Frame, and books for Droog, MVRDV architects, Marcel Wanders, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, E&Y, and artists Yasumasa Yonehara and Marlene Dumas. Roelof also did campaign work for fashion brands such as Takeo Kikuchi and Diesel, various exhibition and communication work for incubator Platform21, and stamps for the Royal Dutch Post.

 

Recently, the University of Amsterdam library interior he designed in collaboration with with Bureau Ira Koers was awarded with The Great Indoors Award. Roelof also was a recipient of the 2009 Rotterdam Design Prize.
