Who says good design has to be expensive? Pioneers of Change, a festival of Dutch design, fashion and architecture on New York's Governors Island featured a 100 dollars and less store designed by Marcel Schmalgemeijer and powered by Droog New York and Wabnitz Editions. Visitors had a chance to fill their backpacks and purses with affordable design ware at the Staten Island / Staten Eylandt house at Nolan Park.
