Een middag gewoon doen

This exhibition was organised by Renny Ramakers following a number of minor shows collectively entitled ‘Things look that way now’ at Interieur 92 in Kortrijk, Belgium (October 1992) and at Musis Sacrum in Arnhem, the Netherlands (December 1992).

Simple, often exisiting materials and shapes contribute to the new mentality in international design. It’s all about products that embrace daily life, but that put down a new image with their underlying idea and careful execution.

‘Een middag gewoon doen’ showed interior products by amongst others: Ed Annink, Gijs Bakker, Jurgen Bey, Eibert Draisma, Piet Hein Eek, Tejo Remy, Wilma Sommers, Arnout Visser and Marcel Wanders.
