Marije Vogelzang

Marije Vogelzang knows all about the magic of food design. Food is not just the things lying on your plate, but also the atmosphere, the sound, the people you're with, the story behind the ingredients. It's about using all your senses.

Marije designs food concepts with her own company named 'Proef'. Proef opened in Rotterdam, March 2005 and in Amsterdam, September 2006. Besides working with Droog, she was assigned to a lot of projects with, for example, the Rotterdam based LINK-designers, Li Edelkoort, Marlies Dekkers and Turnover Amsterdam. Marije is also passing her knowledge through to students by giving lectures about food design.
