Description
Less is more, but not with this pedestal. By putting porcelain and concrete together, each amplifies the qualities of the other. You can’t feel the fineness of porcelain without perceiving the heaviness of concrete. Pick up the cup by lifting the concrete pillar, and turn the concrete blocks to make the decorative plates appear. One thing is connected to the other, like a perpetuated ritual.
