Liberty Corbett

Liberty Corbett is a singer and composer whose music brings together folk and jazz. Creating songs that open a small room within the larger world: a place to look closely at the tender and human. In her live project, she performs on vocals and acoustic guitar alongside Kai Spatzier on synth and piano, Álvaro Orcajo on double bass, and Lluís Perez-Villegas on drums and percussion. Playful and carefully crafted, the music moves between arranged compositions and light-footed improvisation, creating songs that feel intimate yet surprising.

Formerly the singer and composer of psychedelic folk band Chrysalis, Liberty has performed at venues including Paradiso and sold out two release shows for the band’s 2024 double single Face to Face / Words of Wit. Her solo work carries a similar dream-logic: Gently suspended somewhere between liquid and solid, like an egg yolk.
