Android Dreams: AI Film Fest Amsterdam

Enter the future of cinema, where imagination and technology converge.

On Saturday, October 4th, 13:00–17:00, Droog becomes the stage for AI Film Fest Amsterdam by MadHatter Studio, showcasing visions of utopian and dystopian futures through AI storytelling.

The event will feature some of the best A.I. filmmakers from around the world including the winning film of A.I. Film Fest Amsterdam 2025: KUCHIKAME by artist Alexander Garnier. Between the tangible and the intangible, Alexander Garnier’s work unfolds in a quiet, symbiotic flow—merging generative art with the patience of craftsmanship, blending reflections with pixels.

Motion is carved from algorithms, light is shaped into matter, and perception is bent through tools that collect sensations like fragments of memory. KUCHIKAME (口噛甕) emerges from this fusion. Its conceptual framework, rooted in themes of memory, food, and identity, was shaped with the aid of AI brainstorming and narrative tools. Some of his work is currently on display at Artifex Lab in Paris. Other panelists include founding members of the Prompt Club & Artifex Lab.
