Jurgen Bey, Richard Hutten and Marcel Wanders are famous designers, but can they cook as well? On the occasion of the opening of the new location of Droog these designers had been invited to do something at their own discretion.
The designers decided to present a celebratory decorated dinner table, which is a collection of 11 years of Droog. On Wednesday evening December 15th 2004, the three of them showed their culinary arts in the new kitchen which is part of the public space of the new location. Fifty guests took a seat at the dinner table to enjoy the soup by Jurgen Bey, the do-it-yourself sushi by Marcel Wanders and the ice cream by Richard Hutten. Between the courses Guus Beumer challenged the designers and the guests with philosophical questions.
