WAZO BEAN

Tune into WAZO BEAN’s all-life radio station, for ultrasonic moth music, electromagnetic field bee operas and the hottest mudskipper love songs. The Amsterdam- based Primal Neo-Soul collective brings raw, groove-based music from the perspective of non-human life, with a sound reminiscent of Hiatus Kaiyote, Clever Austin, Erykah Badu and Arthur Verocai.

Their debut album is a journey through different ecosystems, from the nighttime swamp of singing toads, to the timelapse view of millions of years of geological formation. Brought to life with WAZO BEAN’s acoustic 5-piece band, featuring lush synths and a mini-orchestra.

With Carolina Gemmell on vocals and acoustic guitar, Pablo Gonzalez on cello, Aniol Torrents on double bass, Yam Anisimov on electric guitar, Guy Abada on drums and Gabrielle Migraine on the visuals, they are releasing their debut album “ways of being” in March 2027. The album is a journey through different ecosystems, featuring lush synths and a mini-orchestra, embodying the nighttime swamp of singing toads, the brightly coloured savannah, to the timelapse view of millions of years of geological formation.
