PERFORMANCE – Perfection, Rebellion

This evening showcases two performances exploring womanhood through dance, spoken word, electronic music and physical theatre: questioning perfection and embracing rebellion.

ACT I

“The Nutcracker” portrays a woman trapped in a fairytale kingdom — always on her toes, always composed and always with a smile. Caught between words and movement, Princess Girl attempts to narrate her fairytale story without a crack.

ACT II

“The Crazy Lady in All of Us” is a contemporary dance piece formed as a collage of routines, private obsessions and coincidental moments of intimacy. Two young women present a world where the norms are fluid, where beauty is wild and pleasure beats logic.
