Sky High Table is a table with an in-built inflatable cushion. At first glance, it appears to be an ordinary table. However, hidden within its surface is an inflatable cushion that rises at the push of a button, transforming the tabletop into a soft resting place. Press a button, and the pillow appears, allowing you to take a quick power nap. It helps remind the workaholic single to disengage. What begins as a functional piece of furniture quickly becomes an invitation to pause.

Designed with the modern workaholic in mind, Sky High Table gently challenges today’s culture of constant productivity. By integrating rest directly into a workspace object, the table blurs the line between working and relaxing, encouraging users to take a moment for themselves. Presented by Droog Design, the project reflects a broader exploration of how design can reshape daily habits through subtle humour and intelligent intervention.
