Who is Looking?
Welcome to the interactive lecture and screening about working with images, with Gustav Bengtsson. This lecture invites you into a shared exploration of how we understand and produce images , touching on the use of AI, the context of research with images, and the relationship with critical theory.
At the heart of the event is a curiosity about perception and authorship: who looks, and from where? The key method is the use of one’s own body together with the camera as a source of knowledge, not merely as a tool for documentation, but as an active participant in the process of meaning-making.
Whether you come from an artistic, academic, or practice-based background, this workshop offers a space to reflect on and experiment with the ways images think, feel, and communicate.
