Martí Guixé turns a simple lollipop into a small act of planting. Hidden inside the orange-flavoured sweet is an orange seed, ready to be placed in the ground once the candy is finished. The wooden stick then marks the spot where the seed was planted. Created for the Couleur Locale project in Oranienbaum, the design playfully connects food with nature and gives a disposable object the chance to start a much longer story.

‘In Oranienbaum I noticed the boredom and the stillness of nature. And the peace that makes me nervous. A nature made only for looking, a big park where you can not interact, like a big scenario. An out-of-time, artificial vision of nature’.
